About the Märklin Model Railway Club
Thanks for visiting the Marklin Model Railway Club.
The Club is a healthy one of approximately 80 members, with a number from outside the region and from overseas.
Local members come together from all over the Wellington region to meet at the club rooms in Upper Hutt and share their common passion for Marklin model trains and the originals (prototypes) that inspired them.
There are many aspects of model railways, from the locomotives, coaches and wagons themselves, to layout contruction, modelling and researching the actual railways the model's prototypes operated on.
It can be a great family activity for parents and kids to share. Come and see "Bergtalbahn", the club's H0 scale layout and meet the other club members. They will be more than willing to help you get started with this great hobby.
